The Republican crusade to shut to government of the US, to cut its economy loose from its moorings, to risk plunging the world economy into unknown waters of global depression, to wrest from our treasury its long-standing world leadership, to make governing this large and complex nation impossible, to undermine the executive branch, to thwart duly passed and signed laws, to relentlessly attack and vilify the first African-American president, to refuse to pay the bills for legislation already on the books, to undermine our ability to regulate our own economy,
This is what secessionism in the 21st century looks like. This is not an act of protest, this is not a principled stand against truly unpopular abuses. This is ginning up hatred and fear relentlessly for years to move us toward chaos at any cost.
It is treason.
How long before anyone in the traditional media utters those words??
